How Many Martinis?

How many martinis are safe to have? I assume it would differ with body size and weight, but I heard a general rule that seems appropriate. Actually, my uncle told me this cute little saying awhile ago.

Martinis are like boobs.
One is not enough.
Three are too many.
And two are just right.

Makes sense, I guess. In fact, I know of someone who got really parked by not following this rule, recently. Oh well, live and learn. ;)

My grandpa has a good strategy for gin and tonics…When you finish your drink, leave the lime in the glass. Add a new lime with each new drink. When the glass if full of limes it’s time to stop. Maybe the same could be said of olives and martinis?

That’s a good one! I’ll have to remember that if I can remember what it was I was supposed to remember by then.
