This one took me a couple of days to mull over because I have a lot of respect for Oprah Winfrey.  She is an icon!  Hard working, successful and savey. - someone who has done many good deeds.   Given all that I wasn’t quite sure how I wanted to respond to her on the campaign trail?  Was it a gimmick?  Has she not seen all the stupid things men in power have already done - especially men with no experience!  I mean look at what we have now.  George W. Bush is pretty lame.  I’m not going to repeat all the parked things he has done, but I do want to point out one thing. 

George W Bush had no experience before he was elected and look where we are now.  In a war that was based on lies, a deficit that our kids will be paying for (for a lifetime that is), the rich getting richer, tax breaks for oil and gas,  NCLB that is not funded, health-care costs out of control……………………..the list is endless.  George W Bush’s INEXPERIENCE brought all that and more!  So I guess the moral of all this is if you think Oprah’s support of the inexperienced Obama will make us a better more successful nation, well then vote for him and don’t come complaining when the kettle runs dry.

Please don’t cast your vote on celebrity.  People need to read, listen and pay attention to the issues.   If you really want true change vote for experience!  If you really, really want to move away from the “ole boys” network vote for a woman!  Lastly, if you really, really, really want to see the United States become the respected nation it once was vote for an experenced woman!
